Need a screen protector for your Nexus 7, you’ve come to the right page. The Google tablet comes with a tough glass screen so I hope that scratching isn’t a big problem for the default N7. But inevitably, if you’re taking your tablet out and about it might pick up a few scratches.
I have personally used the screen covers from Expert Shield, you can read my review here.

Screen protectors take different forms but most seem to be protective films that fit neatly over the screen. Some manufacturers will sell films that can be cut to the appropriate size but you are probably better off trying to find one made specifically for the Nexus 7.
The films are easy to fit and once in place the screen protection should keep your Nexus 7 surface nice and scratch free, they can also protect against finger prints.
Do protective films stop the touch screen working? No, you shouldn’t notice any degradation (at least with a good quality screen) however the “feel” may be slightly different. Most people get used to this quickly.
Please see below for links to Nexus 7 (2013) screen protectors, and also for the original Nexus 7 (2012). Please read the vendors description carefully to ensure compatibility with your model.
